I am excited to be a part of the Inside Health team, offering services and healing modalities that are unique to the Oakville area.
My story begins back when I was in high school – my mom developed a rare autoimmune disease called Sarcoidosis and I watched her get bounced around between specialists as she got sicker and sicker.
When she started seeing a Naturopath, her health shifted at a rate and degree we never imagined possible. It opened my eyes to the reality that there was absolutely more to health than I had been taught and it was my mission to become an ND in order to get what I wanted for myself and for my patients: more energy, more vitality, more health; more NOW, and not later.
I can’t begin to tell you how many times a patient will sit in my office and open with “I’ve got these health problems and I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked!” They’re frustrated and sick and tired of being sick and tired! These are the patients who become inspired and amazed when things start to improve. Iron levels rise for the first time in their life, eczema starts to go away, bloating becomes a thing of the past, their sex life is through the roof again. These are the stories I hear and they bring me joy and hope that one day, everyone can achieve these amazing milestones.
I did my undergraduate degree at McMaster in Kinesiology and studied at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. I am licensed to administer injectable therapies such as B12 and Vitamin D, as well as BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). My main clinical expertise lies in digestive health, such as IBS and SIBO, eczema metabolic conditions like diabetes and high cholesterol, vascular disease, anxiety, depression, and concussion management.
Dr. Renata is a member in good standing with the College of Ontario of Naturopathic Doctors and is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is a Certified Sport Nutritionist through the International Society of Sport Nutrition and is also a member of the Association of the Advancement of Restorative Medicine.
